My tour at the Lewis County Rehab started when discharged from Maury Regional. When I arrived by ambulance and went to my room, I was met with smiles from all of the nurses and aides on the floor.
I had complete shoulder replacement surgery and needed physical therapy. When I arrived that Saturday afternoon, I was still not over the surgery and also needed oxygen. All the personnel at the rehab center were just wonderful to me. I became friends with most of the nurses and aides. When it came to start my physical therapy treatments, the people were great and their treatment and exercises got me back on my feet before I was discharged home. I try to visit weekly to see patients and speak to the people working.
My stay at the rehab center was great due to the performance of the nurses, aides, physical therapy people, the doctor, nurses and the dietary department. I have no regrets with my stay at the Lewis County Rehab and Nursing Center. They sent me home on a new foot and back to good health.
