About Spiritual Counseling
While certain patients may experience physical pain at the end of their life, many more experience spiritual and emotional pain. Spiritual pain looks different for every patient, but many hospice patients experience a lack of purpose or hope, or struggle with forgiveness. It is the goal of our spiritual counselors to help these patients find peace at the end of their life. This can mean finding peace or comfort in organized religion, or evaluating and coming to terms with unresolved issues. We care deeply about our patients being as comfortable as possible, both physically and spiritually, as they approach the end of their lives.
